Wheeler Farm

The Utah Supreme Court summer party was tonight at Wheeler Farm. Families were invited, and since I don't have one of my own, I borrowed Mary's. :) All the Hoffmann's came. Although we were denied a tractor-pulled cart ride by an officious farm worker who "couldn't possibly give one more ride because others on the farm are already milking the cows!" and "Oh, you don't have tokens? . . . (superior and knowing chuckle) . . . well, you couldn't have had a ride anyway!", we did milk cows, eat food, and see lots of chickens, roosters, pigs, goats, horses, ducks, geese and a ladybug. A little while ago my niece Haley and I decided to play dress-up. In addition to looking fabulous (as you can tell from the photos), we also decided to debut our incredible singing and dancing skills. The video below is particularly funny. I hope you enjoy! Erin

Portland 2009

My friend Marc Leatherman and I spent the weekend in Portland visiting our friend Gray Petty who is in law school there. We did a bunch of hiking and sightseeing and hanging out downtown. Here are a few pictures of the beach and of the cheese factory in Tillamook! I have some great waterfall pictures, but they were taken on a different camera, so those will be coming shortly. Snowmobiling

Dad Gill invited us to go snowmobiling up by the cabin property last month. Only Jenny and I ended up being able to go, so it was a great little daddy-daughter party. We had a blast! We enjoyed the crisp, fresh air and glistening snow, and definitely got our work-out digging each other out once or twice . . . or three or eight times. . . . :) Here are a few pics to highlight the good times!
